Golf IQ™ Success Model:

Golf IQ™ Success Model:

Golf Technique

Even more important than strength, proper technique composes a majority of one’s ability to play golf well. In our unique facilities, we are able to utilize a variety of equipment, training aids, and a state-of-the-art golf simulator to help clients develop maximum proper golf technique.

Clubs & Equipment

We use a unique combination of Trackman technology*, proprietary frequency matching** equipment, and the expertise of a Master Club Builder to create golf clubs perfectly matched to each individual’s swing criteria.

Mental Focus

We create a shift in the way our clients approach the entire game of golf, from the way players swing a club, to the way they manage strategies and tactics around the course, resulting in increased confidence, reduced scores, and improved enjoyment of the game.

* Trackman measures club speed, impact, ball spin, trajectory, distance & much, much more.
** frequency matching is a process of analyzing a golf shaft’s tendency to flex, twist, and bend during the swing and to match the proper shaft dynamics to an individual’s swing characteristics to create straighter, longer golf shots.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the indoor golf league?

The indoor golf league is played on our virtual golf simulator, which is open to club members and the public.

For league play, we recommend you sign up with a partner, but you can sign up as a single and still compete and have fun.

Once per week you will play nine holes on a predetermined course and we use the Stableford scoring system, which not only increases the speed of play, but also enables players to compete evenly in spite of the occasional bad hole or two.

Team’s cumulative weekly scores are compiled to determine weekly prizes and advancement to the league playoffs, where league champions win a cash prize “not pro shop credit”.

  • Do I have to be in the league to use the simulator?

No, the simulator can be rented by the hour. The number of players playing on the simulator does not change the price. We have three seasons for pricing summer, fall, and winter.

  • When can I play my league rounds?

You can play your round anytime there is an open tee time. Don’t worry if you miss a week, it can be made up any other week or you can play ahead if need be, you can also play on defferent days and times, with or with out your partner depending on your schedule.

  • Is there a place for me to store my clubs?

Yes, we do have club storage for a small fee. Inner Quest students can store their clubs for no charge.

  • Do I use my own clubs and balls in the simulator?

Yes, of course. It wouldn’t be much like real golf otherwise. We just ask that the ball is newer and has no cuts, scrapes or ID makers on it.

  • Are you open to the public?

Yes, we are open to the public. Both members and non-members are welcome to use the simulator, get fitted & demo clubs, take golf lessons. You can also have a repair done for a later pick up or you may have them delivered for a fee.

  • What kinds of students do you work with?

We work with a wide range of students from the beginning to competitive golfers playing regularly in local and traveling tournaments. We work with children, teens, and adults of all ages. If you want to inprove we are here for you. We do free evaluations to ensure we are a good fit.

  • How long is each lesson?

Each lesson lasts at least 1 hour depending on our agenda for the lesson but kids under the age of 13 are usually around 30 min. depending on their attention span. However, a playing lesson lasts between two hours for 9 holes and four if we do 18 holes.

  • When should I buy your fitted clubs?

You can be fitted for clubs whenever you’re ready and can make solid ball contact. From there our pro will let you a demo a fitted Driver & 6 Iron to compare to your to other brands or your existing clubs. From there you will be able to compare how much our clubs are better for your game.

  • I've taken lessons before and they didn't help much, so what makes you different?

I believe there are several reasons I am different from other golf instructors. If I can’t help you, I will refer you to someone I think can. That is why I offer what no one else will a Goal Guaranteed Lessons plan. This gives our pro a more vested interest in your success, with no up-selling; costing you more money. You can also buy lessons by the hour. Our most popular plan includes four hours of lessons and a 9 hole playing lesson (Greens fee are not included).

  • What are fitted clubs?

Fitted clubs from me are frequency fitted clubs, not flex fitted. Frequency fitted clubs can improve your control and your distance by 60 – 80%. I charge you for a club fitting and club analysis. I build you a demo driver and a 6 iron that properly fit you, so you can see how my custom clubs can help your game. This way you can compare them to other brands or fitting methods to see which is best for you.

  • Do you offer Gift Certificates?

Yes, you can purchase gift certificates for any denomination that you need. Gift certificates can be mailed, emailed, or you can pick them up at the pro shop.

“Tim and I had plans to finally get out on a real course, once the weather broke. So, we hit a range and a par 3 course first… and I beat him by 2 strokes! Not trying to kill it [on the short course] helped. I still have a ways to go, but I thought I’d let you know. The at-home lessons are paying off!”

-- MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

“After texting you my plea for help, my scores have drastically improved. Shot a 36 (3 birdies) at Cranberry Highlands on Friday. Shot an 82 (2 birdies) at Spring Church. I have been really focusing on what you’ve shown me and I’m getting solid impact with the ball. Today I shot a 38 (2 birdies) [and I’m] striking it solid.”
